Dulce Martinez
Director/Owner
Dulce Martinez is a distinguished educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, both earned with honors from the University of Houston-Downtown. She is a Texas Educator Certified in Early Childhood through 4th Grade.
Dulce's teaching career began in 2004 at a magnet school in Aldine ISD. In 2005, she transitioned to teaching preschool at de Santiago in Aldine ISD, where she truly excelled. Her exceptional teaching skills, profound knowledge, and unwavering passion were widely recognized. In 2010, Dulce's dedication earned her the prestigious titles of Teacher of the Year and SHABE Bilingual Teacher of the Year. Additionally, she was honored for her academic excellence by Phi Kappa Phi.
As an educator, Dulce is a firm believer in the importance of socio-emotional development as a fundamental component of a comprehensive curriculum. She understands that the environment crafted by a teacher significantly influences a child's development, and consistent positive exposure fosters the establishment of good habits.
Motivated by this philosophy, Dulce collaborated with her sisters to establish the Mon Petit Learning Center. At Mon Petit, the curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child, promoting social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Dulce plays an active role in training the teachers and engaging with the students daily. Her enthusiasm for embracing new challenges and advancing the Mon Petit team is unwavering, driving the center's continual growth and success.
Ana Martinez
Director/Owner
Ana brings knowledge, enthusiasm and joy to Mon Petit Learning Center. Ana graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelors of Art in Psychology. During her child psychology class she interned at the Pre-K center where her sister, Dulce taught. The preschool experience drove Ana to work along her sister. She believes that each child is unique and learn at a different pace. Supporting children in learning to adapt and function successfully in a classroom setting is a key component of early childhood education. At Mon Petit Learning Center routine is constantly emphasized to help the child adapt to their environment. Ana is always making sure all safety measures are being followed and is constant help with teachers and students. Her dedication and optimism brings smiles to Mon Petit.
Patricia Martinez
Assistant Director/ Owner
Patricia graduated in 2006 Cum Laude from the University of Houston Downtown with a Bachelors of Art in Communication and Minor in Psychology. Her background in communication studies allowed her to become public relations director at Joaquin G. Martinez Medical group. She managed the practice from 2006-2014. In 2015 she became manager at San Gerardo Medical Clinic. Since joining Mon Petit Learning Center in 2016 Patricia has consistently brought passion and dedication every single day. She believes maintaining regular communication between staff and parents is important for the child's intellectual growth. Patricia welcomes new families into Mon Petit and and is always ready to help teachers, parents and students.
